We started the year with some recognitions
This year our film All the way took a honorable mention in Lourinha Surf Film Festival and whas choosen for the Bilbao Surf Film Festival. As a small, close-knit company, recognition and awards almost serve as validation that our efforts to change the surf industry are on the right track. [More here]
Record-Breaking Sales
First and foremost, 2024 will be remembered as the year we achieved our highest sales since the onset of the pandemic. This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and hard work and also thanks to our leal customers who continue to support our business. 2024 will also be remembered as the year with the fewest returns ever. This milestone reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and shows that the small adjustments we have been making to our traction pads are paying off.

Adjusting to Economic Realities
In response to the rising costs of fuel and transportation, we implemented our first price adjustment to our surf grips in eight years. This decision was not made lightly, but it was necessary to continue delivering the high-quality products and services our customers expect. We understand the impact this may have, and we remain committed to providing exceptional value and maintaining the trust of our customers.
New Beginnings
This year, we proudly opened new offices in a charming small street store. This move represents more than just a change of address; it signifies a new chapter in our journey. Our new location provides a welcoming space for Martim to work and try to innovate, while also offering a unique and accessible point of contact for our community. We started with a little party to our friends and customers and we look forward to the opportunities this new environment will bring.
Welcoming New Talent
2024 also saw the expansion of our rider team with the addition of several talented surfers. These new team members bring fresh energy and perspectives, and we are thrilled to have them on board. Their passion for surfing align perfectly with our values, and we are excited to see them testing our surf grip pads and getting feedback on all aspects of surfing with our products.
Exciting Partnership
We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with our old friend Mark, making Van der Waal surfboards available at Lost Shore, Europe's largest wave pool. Located just outside of Edinburgh, Lost Shore offers state-of-the-art wave technology by Wavegarden, luxury accommodations, and a range of leisure activities. This partnership allows us to bring our surf deck pads to a wider audience and provide an unforgettable surfing experience in a world-class facility. [More here]
